Hello,
Time flys right by and it's almost Christmas and I never seem to have the time
to do the things that I meen too.
I never have taken the time to say thank you for your
hospitality. In early Septemper my girlfriend and I showed up a little late
after a 600+ mile ride from Illinois.
You had a cold beer waiting and even stayed up to cook us a pizza.
Our tiny cabin was quiet, clean and comfortable. Very
nice.
We left early the next morning to ride U.S. 129 then
more back roads to Ashville to meet my brother and sister for my fathers
surprise 80th birthday
party, and
he was surprised.
All in all we put 1700 miles on my old green Triumph
in 5 days and had a very enjoyable vacation starting at your place. Thank

Hey Jody, how are you and
Sheri doing! It's Aaron...I'm the one with the blue R-1 (yamaha) front
fairing hangin
in the "tail
of the dragon tree". I did a high side into my buddy Phil 3 years ago
in April while staying at your place, the Punkin Center, that weekend.
I
was in the area (Gatlinburg) this past week (August 1st ) with my family
on our vacation and wanted to stop by. As always, whenever I'm in Gatlinburg,
I like to take a day and come visit the area there of 129 and the foothills
parkway....to me that's what puts the icing on the cake for my vacation.
I like to come in and visit with you and Sheri and thank you once again
for everything you did for me that weekend I destroyed $20,000 in motorcycles!
I feel I was very fortunate that day, but more importantly you guys were
like family to me that day and cared for me like you had known me all my
life! I can't describe how that makes me feel, but having you guys look
over
me that weekend of the accident has not been forgotten by any means. It
makes me feel good to come by and say hi to you guys whenever I'm in "the
area".
At any rate, I stopped in to see you guys this weekend
with my 3 year old son on Saturday Aug 4th, but Sheri was at home and you
were working
on the A/C unit to one of the cabins. I did manage to talk with you breifly
Jody and I'm sorry to hear about the accident you were involved in a
couple weeks ago...( I saw the helmet on the tree just below my front fairing).
It was definitely good to talk to you and I'm sorry I missed Sheri, please
tell her I said hi. ...
Thanks again for everything, it was good talking
to you again this past weekend Jody. I wish you a speedy recovery and
loads
of fun there in the mountains. I will definitely look forward to seeing

Jody, Just checking on how
you are doing. Hope you get out of the neck brace sooner then what the
docs say. Greg tells me you had
6 vertebrae cracked and 3 busted ribs, WOW sorry bout that and I hope you
get back to the norm really soon. The accident makes me feel bad because
in my world good things should happen to good people and you and your wife
are the best people I have meet in a long time. Everyone there associated
with the Punkin center has been great to all of us there this past weekend.
I found a do-rag at the general store in front of your place that has a skull
on the front and a caption that reads ' follow no one ' and I thought of
Greg so I bought it and I am going to give it to him when we get together.
well, I hate to write because it takes me a long time because I am a hunt
and pecker on the key-board and I am also a bad speller, but I was wanting
to let you know I will be thinking of you all and hope to see you all again

Dear Jody and Sherry, hope things are going well for you.I
was glad to see Jody get to come home Sunday. I am back at work but I am
on light duty for 2 weeks, which means I am inside and working at a P.C,
which sucks. Some of us want to come back in 2 or 3 weeks and stay in tents.
We want you to get a list of things you want done around the camp lodge and
we want to come down and help you, while Jody is lay up and we will not take
no for a answer. Plus set around and drink a little beer and bullshite. Sherry
put a lock on that neck collar. Take Care and talk to

Just wanted to let you all know how much my brother
and I enjoyed our stay and how concerned we were when we got news of
Jodie’s
accident. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel just like family
by everyone there, Jodie and Sherry are special kind of folks and that
is
why when
we found out about the wreck we had a lot of the wind taken out of our
sails. I hope that very soon he is up and about and she is fussing at
him to at
least try to keep out of trouble. I really enjoyed the black tomato's
and the tomato pie Sherry made. Plus the entertainment at the bar was
top notch.

just wanted to thank you both for making the best trip of my life that
much better. Myself, my dad, and
my two buddies all agree that you and your place is the best. You made
us feel like we we're part of the family. We plan on making this at least
an

Jody and Sherry; we launched out early and didn't get
an opportunity to Thank you both. We had a great time. Your hospitality is
equaled by none!! We rode the Dragon 2 times on Sunday then, just like you
said Jody, took the Foothills Pkwy back to I40, great ride man. We had good
weather all the way back in to Clarksville, TN; hell made it back in time
for the last 10 laps of the NASCAR race. What a bonus.
Jody, you and the Misses are more than welcome to

anything, anything; prior to your arrival let me know.. I could let you guys
stay at my place I have an extra room, wouldn't be an imposition at all.
